:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Culby -- Anything goes- vulnerable, and honest, and Patti LuPone : I knew of Ms. Foster from watching the Tony's over the years, but I really discovered her from "Bunheads," a show that didn't have enough of a chance and should STILL BE ON THE AIR. I've followed her on Instagram for a few years now, and love seeing all her crafts and her return to the stage as Reno Sweeney. She just seems like such a joy- and to discover she has such a charming personality either in spite of or because of her upbringing just makes her even better. I really appreciated her honesty (and occasional swearing, as a fellow sailor), and it was really interesting to read the behind the scenes of some of her biggest achievements. Sometimes the timeline jumped around a bit, but overall this was a fantastic read- I'm bummed I finished it so quickly. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2021 )

I loved the stories she told and how the different chapters were named after her craft projects. I just wish she had included photos of her work. Despite her talents and career success, this leaves her struggling to form ordinary human relationships. Beautifully and movingly told. And then there are the crafts and recipes! Very enjoyable!
